Terms of service (draft)

Note

⚠️ DRAFT, NOT YET REVIEWED BY A LAWYER. Written by an AI assistant on 2026-11-01 as step L10 of the legal plan and published at netofi.net/terms before counsel's review, at the product owner's request. Square brackets mark what other steps must supply: the entity (L1) and counsel's wording (L3).

Version: 2026-11-01

1. Who we are and what you agree to#

NetoFi is a crypto portfolio, source-of-funds and tax reporting service at netofi.net, operated by [entity name, legal form, registration number, address — step L1] ("NetoFi", "we"). These terms are the agreement between NetoFi and you, the person who signs in. You accept them when you create an account, and again whenever we ask you to after a change (section 14). Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data and is part of this agreement.

You must be 18 or older. If you use NetoFi for a business, such as an accounting firm, you accept these terms for that business and confirm you may bind it.

2. The service#

NetoFi reads the wallets and exchange accounts you connect, builds your portfolio and its history, traces where funds came from, and produces tax reports. It is an early product: features change, some networks and exchanges are read only in part, and we may add, change or stop a feature at any time.

3. Your account#

You sign in with one email address. Keep access to that email safe: whoever controls it controls your account. You can share a portfolio with other people; you choose who, and you can remove them. If you use NetoFi for your clients, you confirm that each client has authorised you to process their data, and an accountant who brings clients signs our data agreement as well.

4. Exchange keys#

When you connect an exchange you give NetoFi an API key. Give only a read-only key: one with no permission to trade and none to withdraw. NetoFi never needs more, and a key with more power puts your funds at risk if it ever leaks. We store keys encrypted and use them only to read your account. You can remove a key in the app at any time, and you can revoke it at your exchange at any time.

5. Not tax advice#

NetoFi's reports are software output, not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and using NetoFi creates no professional relationship. Every report carries the same notice. Data can be incomplete and a tax policy can be wrong for your circumstances: have a qualified professional review a report before you rely on it or file it. You remain responsible for what you file.

6. Acceptable use#

You agree not to:

The service has limits, such as the number of new accounts a day and how many jobs run at once. They protect the service for everyone, and we may change them.

7. Suspension and ending#

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or that the law requires us to stop. While it is suspended, its portfolios and data are kept; write to us to discuss it. You can delete a portfolio yourself in the app, and stop using NetoFi whenever you like; to delete your whole account, write to us and we delete it as our privacy policy describes.

8. Address labels and your prepaid balance#

Some features look up who is behind an address with a paid data provider. They are optional, and they are paid from a small prepaid balance on your account:

9. Price#

NetoFi is free to use today, apart from the lookups of section 8. Before we charge for anything else, we tell you, and paid plans come with their own terms.

10. Your data#

Your data stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you, as our privacy policy describes. We do not sell it.

11. Others' services#

NetoFi depends on blockchains, exchanges, price sources and other providers that we do not control. When one of them is wrong, late or down, NetoFi's results can be too.

12. Liability#

NetoFi is provided as is, without any promise that it is accurate, complete or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or a tax assessment, penalty or interest, and our total liability to you is limited to [the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100 — counsel, L3]. Nothing in these terms limits a right the law gives you that cannot be limited, such as your rights as a consumer.

13. Law and courts#

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have jurisdiction [counsel, L3]. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of your own country's mandatory law and may bring a claim in its courts.

14. Changes#

When we change these terms or our privacy policy in a way that matters, we update the version at the top and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Until you accept it, you cannot use the service; your data is kept.
